Meet my son

Well, we finally had the baby on 3/11 at 5:12 pm and we got back home today about 4:00 pm. He had to come by c section which wasn't my wife's first choice but she did amazing. I was so proud of her for going through that. He was 9lb 3oz, 14 1/2" around the head, 14" around the chest, and 20 1/2" long. I have to say the most moving moment of my entire life was hear his first breath followed by a bellowing cry. It's such an awe inspiring and humbling feeling to know that this precious new life is dependent on you for everything. I bet I took about 350 pictures and just picked a handful to show him off. I didn't feel like editing to many down to a more forum friendly size.......couldn't sleep the days before because of all the anticipation and can't sleep now because I just want to look at him. So hear are a few pics to introduce my son, Aiden.

He is precious indeed!! I see you guys learned about the finger nails on the face issue.

Yeah an hour or so ago I put a gown on him to sleep in and it had the scratch mittens made into the arms. Well, being my first baby I had trouble getting his little arms where they were supposed to go and when I pulled it all over his head it looked like Wolverine attacked his left cheek.

I felt kinda bad but I'm sure he'll suffer some more scratches and dents until I get it all down pack.

Wow, what a cute baby! Congrats to you and mom.

Mitten cuffs are a lifesaver, as we found out on ours. That and socks work well, too.

Enjoy him being small now while you can. They grow like weeds!

Make the most of the time that he stays where you put him. Soon enough you'll put him down, turn around and look at something ("Oooh a butterfly"), then look back and he'll be off getting into mischief somewhere.
