At this point there's hardly enough activity on the 98OG alone. Dividing that into the 98OG and ARMYOG would not only be a pointless split, but it would be fiscially irresponsible, as we would go from 1 forum that (I'm guessing) barely holds its head above water and doubling the operating cost.

I could kind of see the merit; but before I'd ever vote for it, I'd want to see a Phenom OG (since it actually has diferent internals; though I'd still vote against that one today); an ION or SP-OG (I'd actually like that one since I know there are a number of us who have IONs or other SP markers); or even something more eclectic like a MacDevOG AngelOG or AutoCockerOG (none of which I expect to see, unless Buck creates an ACOG himself!)

Besides the fact that they are the same marker I think using the forum name US Army OG would probably not go over to well with alot of people as it gives off a different impression than that of a paintball forum.

Also why create another forum to a marker with a different body, that would be like creating a PEOG every year since they come out with a marker every year, I just dont see the point.

I voted nay. I'm in agreement with most everyone else about the reasons not to go forward with it.

That's a good point there. I check all of the Tippmann related OG's daily, more than that on boring days at work. There is hardly any traffic to the 98OG as is. The A5OG & X7OG have a lot more traffic.

At most I would say give it it's own subsection, like they did in the X7OG for the Phenom.

I had to vote no myself...as it has already been pointed out...it's just a 98 with a newer body. It would be adding more work un-needed work on the mods.

A sub forum within the 98OG...sure....I can see that being a little more piratical.
