Attention SA-8 users,
This forum does not condone the use, modification, or alteration of the less than lethal SA-8 Pepperball pistol for paintball use. Furthermore, the sale or trade of the SA-8 pistol and/or SA-8 associated parts on this forum is prohibited.

Any open threads concerning this subject matter will be closed at the discretion of the forum staff.

I can only hope that other paintball forums and our affiliate forums will adopt this policy. If you are wonder why we the moderation staff have taken this stand point:

1) It obviously has safety issues in paintball application and or otherwise. They were designed to be self defense less than lethal "weapon".

2) This forum has never allowed these type of products to be sold or traded on this forum. Pepperballs, mace, weapons, etc.

3) Some states and or countries may have laws that prohibit these from even being carried.

4) They are a less than lethal weapon and modification of these may not be legal in some states and or countries.

5) The sale and or trade of these to a minor in some states and or countries may not be legal.

The list goes on. The fact is, we don't know the law in every state and or country. But we do however know that they are not designed for paintball use. They are designed for self defense. Making them a weapon in most states and or countries. And as such, they are something that we the moderation staff feel are not appropriate for this forum for paintball. And this forum is not the appropriate place to sell, trade, or learn how to modify these type of products.

I saw on the OG's that Tiberius is offering to give you a T8 if you send in just your SA8 launcher plus $50. They let you keep the mags and kit. This seems like a good deal. I hadn't liked Tiberius's response to this ordeal, but the new offer changes my mind. There's really no reason to keep the SA8 now. They were even talking about figuring out was to retrofit the SA8's.

This is well and above what I was anticipating, yet it is what I suggested in my original e-mail. I was actually expecting the price to be a bit higher. Good-Bye LTL SA-8, Hello Limited Edition T-8.
